The Governor has instructed me to solicit the particular attention of the Honorable the Major General Commanding the Troops in China, to the fact that the proposed boundary of the Cantonment at Chuck Choo has been extended westerly so as to encircle a considerable portion of that village and to request that the necessary orders may be issued to the Commanding Royal and Superintending Engineer to prevent this being carried out.
